| 2. What type of home inspection report do you complete?
American Inspections, Inc. completes a thorough and comprehensive 12 page computer generated inspection report that is easy to read and understand. The recommendations and comments are made in a detailed narrative style to give additional insight into the reported conditions and deficiencies. For quick and easy reference the home inspection categories are clearly listed, organized and rated. An additional 16 page supplement is also included to help you care for and maintain your home. Approximately 3 hours are spent on site inspecting the home and approximately 3 additional hours are taken back at the office writing up the inspection report to help insure you are provided with complete and detailed information and recommendations.

| 3. What type of training and background do you have?
Steve Kolar has been doing professional home inspections on a full time basis for the past 15 years. Steve formally started in the home inspection business with The Building Inspector of America Franchise and received professional home inspection training from structural engineers, architects, building contractors, and home inspectors with 25+ years of home inspection experience. Prior to doing home inspections, Steve was the Branch Manager of a major lending organization completing real estate appraisals and inspections for 12 years. Steve has a combined home inspection and lending/inspection experience of 25+ years. Steve grew up around the building trades with his father being an
electrician for the Wisconsin Power and Light Co. and his grandfather
being a carpenter. |

| 4. Are you an ASHI member and what educational requirements do you complete annually?
Steve is a member of ASHI. (American Society of Home Inspectors) In order to be an ASHI member you must pass the National Home Inspector Exam and the ASHI Standards and Ethics Examination, complete at least 20 hours of approved training each year, complete at least 250 fee paid home inspections, and complete all home inspections following the ASHI standards and code of ethics. |
