Approximately 3 hours are spent on site inspecting the dwelling and approximately 3 additional hours are spent back at the office writing up the inspection report. The additional time spent back at the office helps insure you are provided with detailed information, recommendations, explanations.
Additional time is taken back at the office:
  1. To research areas of concern.
  2. To organize the inspection data to help provide your with the very best possible recommendations.
  3. To insure full attention is given to you and your home inspection versus taking up valuable inspection time writing up the report on site.
  4. To provide you complete and additional detail to help reduce the chance for misinterpretation of the report.
  5. To provide you with added recommendations to give a better insight to the problems identified.
  6. To help you with preventative maintenance suggestions to help prevent small problems from developing into larger problems.
  7. To give you input on ways to fine tune and improve your new home purchase.
Writing up the inspection report back at the office  provides the inspector additional time to inspect your home, answer your questions, and share valuable information and ideas with you as we inspect your home together
It is recommended that the client attend the home inspection if at all possible to gain additional insight into the home you are purchasing and the home inspection process.
